NOTE: the terms fire warden and fire marshal are not controlled in the UK. Often they are just treated as meaning the same. However, there is also a view that the fire marshal training should cover fire safety issues for larger workplaces where a fire marshal may be responsible for many people with fire warden training. This is how we use the terms.
